Dear Clergy and Laypersons, as well as Webmasters who donate time and
services to their house of worship:
     My name is Michele Cervoni and I'm involved with a penpal organization
called "SAPE", which has matched more than 30,000 Americans with a penpal in
the former USSR since 1989.  Because we here have each had our own
unfortunate experiences with things offered on the internet, we ask that all
interested parties contact us BY POSTAL MAIL  Please note that:
     *   These are postal mail penpals only, NOT e-mail penpals
     *   We provide penpals in the former USSR countries only
     *   We match people aged 8 and up (adults as well as kids)
     *   Penpals correspond in English, unless there is another common
language
     *   We welcome penpal requests from individuals and groups
     If interested, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the address
below.  We will send you info on our background, details on how to become
involved & a questionnaire to be completed by each particpant, a feature
article done by The Indianapolis Star in 1992 (US & overseas SAPE penpals
were interviewed by the newspaper), and reference letters written on our
behalf by previously participating teachers (who have provided their
